Krispin paced back and forth across the yard, frustration written clearly across his features. The turn he took as he reached the stone wall of the garden was sharp enough that his fog grey cloak rippled behind him, snapping as he turned and retraced his steps over and over again.

Just beyond him, their eyes following him back and forth, a pair of girls perched beneath the weir wood tree. Every so often they would stop watching him long enough to exchange a concerned, but somehow knowing, look. The way they sat, each could have been the reflection of the other. They were identical, from their manes of long frost colored hair, to mirrored orbs of the deepest lavender.

Lo was lounging across a stone gargoyle, shaped like a dragon, it's arching back serving as a make shift recliner, arch of it's tail serving as a foot rest, the rest of him strewn languidly along it's back so that he could watch the ceaseless pacing of his leader. The large stone dragon was about ten feet to left of the balcony that also looked over the garden.

On the balcony a pretty woman with curly brown hair, and dark amber orbs sat talking quietly to a skinny boy with laughing midnight blue eyes. His raven black hair hung over them as he listened, chin propped on a long fingered hand. A bone white ring rested on his middle finger, that bore no distinguishing mark of any kind.
From the door, only Natalie, and Corvin were visible. Both turned with the servant answered the knock that sounded, stepping back and bowing when she realized who it was.

Standing, Natalie flashed a welcoming smile to Zali. "Greetings..." There wasn't time for more to be said before a ball of tawny colored fur came bounding through the doorway to the left, and leapt up into the Kalessa's unsuspecting arms.

It was another one of those days where the young woman was both glad to be free of the Harem as well as almost wishing to be back within it's walls. The responsibilities of a Kelessa were far from few and while she had no qualms of responsibility, there were times when she wished to do nothing more then spend the day with her dragon, she and the young hatch-ling learning the nuances of each other's personalities which were many and varied even with it's youth. Such could not be the case, especially with the happenings of the time. This was not one of peace, and little had such a thing ever been known to her people. They were a hardy sort, based upon survival and strength of arm, both in challenge and out. It was strange that she found herself and her winged companion heading towards where the newer of the two groups, the one she was less acquainted with tended to be found. It was not that she had quarrel with them, more that she did not know them as well as she did the ones that had come before.

Keller and his books were a fond though, a distant memory now that she thought of when times were quiet, or when her fingers traveled over a new parchment. Then there was Sparrow. And Snow. She had come to be as close as she ever allowed herself to be to the two women and she sent a silent prayer to the Horse God that they were both safe and well in their current venture. She still possessed the armor that Sparrow had bought her that night, though it was worn only in times of solitude where she had the opportunity to think over things without interruption. Some would call it being soft, others would call it being wise, for it was a good suit that still had much use to it. Fingers reached up, almost half unconsciously to brush along the underside of the young dragon who rode sidecar on her shoulder. They were inseparable now, the two of them were, the constant companionship offering her an unexpected sort of comfort. Then again he was her Dragon, her Typhon and there was much she had went through to return to him. Free hand that was not scritching away rose, a knock being placed to the door that she now stood before.

Rather than the single braid that most preferred, her hair was set down her spine in a multitude of smaller braids. Swinging with each movement she made, her clothing was loose fitting yet made of sturdy stuff that would hold up beneath the elements as well as allow her body the freedom of breath and speed if need be. Matching in pattern to her Dragon's coloration, she was an appealing picture, the deep blues, purples, and, greens a fitting offset to her softly tanned skin and dusky amber gaze. When the servant did finally open the door to admit her, she stepped in, not so much unassumingly as if it were her right, but with a certain sort of casual air that said she was at least comfortable enough that those gathered here did not intend her harm. Lips made the hint of a curve when the woman, when Natalie bowed. That would still take some getting used to, she supposed. Though with some she was not above using it to her advantage. The station that her birth gave her that was.

She was going to respond in kind when there was the sudden flash of movement and her body moved swiftly. Back to the wall, leaving her as clear a view as possible of potential enemies without leaving her back open to attack. Fingers were slipping down to draw blade when she found her arms suddenly filled with a living, breathing ball of tawny colored furr. Looking up to Natalie again with a bemused grin,

"Looks as if I were missed."

The lady Stark gestured toward the table where she and the boy were seated. "It would seem, would you care to join us? Corvin and I were just discussing the upcoming battle." The blue eyed wizard, as Snow had introduced him, gave Natalie a rueful look. Clearly disapproving of the sharing of information. Zali's arrival had quieted the nearly constant amusement that danced within them. Their depths seeming to shift constantly from lapis lazuli flames to cerulean smoke dotted with flecks of silver. When she didn't balk at his frown, he sighed and motioned toward the chair.

"Why not, we're including Noah, and we know we can't trust him." It was Natalie's turn to frown at her companion.

"We don't know that for certain." She chastised, offering an apologetic glance toward Zali before she retook her seat. Mara in the mean time touched noses with the small iridescent hatchling, that was all it took for the chase to be on. The tiny dragon gave an even smaller roar, and darted after the forest child. The chase was on, both seeming delighted by their newly found playmate.

Her smile quieted at the Male's obvious disapproval, just as much as it seemed the ease within his gaze had vanished at her being brought in on things. The interplay between tawny and sea depths swirls was caught from the corner of her eyes, though not so much viewed closely as was the byplay between the two at the table. Trust. She lacked it in the young Male's eyes, and that much she could understand. She didn't know his personal story, nor did he know hers and now was likely NOT the time to share them. It didn't mean that she would not defend herself against him. There was no reason that she should need to, other than this was her city, her home. Okay maybe that was a bit of a far reach, but it was one that she would make, and make without reserve. Besides, she did not need a soul to defend her and she refused to run the chance that Natalie might. This issue though that the other had with Noah...Hmmm, it bore looking into. She did not take the seat though, too much sitting already having been done.

As the two smaller creatures shot off, their game of tag leading them into the reaches of the building that lay out of her sight, her sigh was quiet, one given internally rather than aloud. Focus was tight then to the table as she took a few steps forward. If the Male would feel her to be a threat, her being out of arms reach would not stop him from doing her harm, thus she would not allow him to think she were that stupid. Closing the distance enough to where her hand could rest lightly atop the table between them, she leaned down. Locked gaze to gaze before letting her words slip free. No malice nor hatred, though there was strength behind them. One that perhaps belied her less than impressive stature.

"Anything that stops this war, anything that in any means is a protection to this city and the lands surrounding it is something that I bare right to hear. If it is neither, than feel free to count me out. But I will not allow you and your lack of trust in me to be what makes me unable to have knowledge of something that could safeguard my people. I've already been unable to do so for too long."

Rising away from the table, her eyes held his with each step back unless he were to purposely avoid her gaze. If so she would merely nod to Natalie, her figure turning so that her back was to them as she looked down the path leading deeper in. Wherever her Dragon was, she would be able to find him and as for Mara...Well surely finding the tawny ball of energy would not be too difficult. Even as she began walking away, her voice was drifting back over her shoulder towards the two.

"By your leave, of course, Natalie. I'm merely going to wrangle up my erstwhile companion and then I'll be gone."
