Casey slowly backed out of her grandchildren's room in their nice but cozy residence within the freehold. Carefully without a sound she closed the door. Most of her grandchildren who were visiting were asleep. She slowly let the door click closed and leaned into Leon. They exchanged a small smile, but neither one of them honestly believed that all the children were in the room or actually sleeping. Casey had a strong suspision that a hand full of Donivan, who shared Leon's feathery soft brown hair, was actually at his uncle Derek's. Casey leaned back into the lean expanse of Leon's chest and looked up as he wrapped his arms around her. Though his expressions were always subtle compaired to most, Casey never missed the dry humor when he disconcerted someone, the adoration when he watched his children and grandkids, and she never missed the tender looks at her which held a deeply heated undercurrent. A little more than a century ago, Casey would never have believed she would marry for love, let alone still be so much in love after all these years. She gently toyed with her bone wedding ring. Exchanging another long and loving look, she wrapped her arms around Leon and the two of them walked off to the Master bedroom. Casey silently bemoaned the fact it wasn't for some alone time as she slipped her hand into Leon's back pocket. Saddly they were going to assist some shifters in some rather sketchy business. She stifled a sigh as Leon opened the bedroom doorl
